Atmospheric Sciences Department
The department was established at the beginning of the academic year 1992-1993 and it is the only department of its kind in Iraqi universities and among the few departments throughout the region. The department provides qualitative studies programs at the level of primary studies and postgraduate studies in many disciplines of atmospheric science, including meteorology, climate, remote sensing, air pollution, solar energy and wind energy. The administrative and scientific staff in the department made great efforts in preparing the vocabulary of atmospheric sciences, depending on the academic programs of solid international universities.

Conference Details
- The conference will be held in person at the College of Science, Al-Mustansiriya University, Baghdad, Iraq, from May 26-27, 2025.
- A certificate of attendance will be issued free of charge.
- Submitted research must be in English exclusively and must not have been published or presented at another conference.
- Research is subject to scientific evaluation and will be published in the prestigious global repositories (Scopus) IOP: Earth and Environmental Science (EES).
- After the research meets the conditions for participation and obtains final acceptance from the evaluators, a fee of (400) thousand Iraqi dinars per research.
- Research papers should be submitted exclusively through the conference’s official website.

Conference Aims
- Build scientific capabilities in the field of atmospheric science.
- Provide a scientific forum for researchers and specialists in the field of atmospheric sciences, and review the latest developments and research in this field.
